Call me sensitive or PC brainwashed, I think Michael scott is a sexist, homophobic, racist, agist kidnapper. And he is not portrayed in an ironic way, and the character never fails to find his way to Reddit where he enjoys cult followers who are more likely to be WASPs like ‘the greatest boss ever’. The media can be sending really mixed signals sometimes. Like right now, Bruce Springsteen announces that he voted for Clinton because he cares about this and that, but as a poc, I say that I don’t believe that Springsteen can genuinely empathize with me. His music can be a lie. Now does Michael Scott speak for ‘the office’? (It’s interesting how Springsteen is dubbed ‘the boss’ by fans)

Also I’m losing my interest in the Pam and Jim couple which just becomes boring like any other tv couples (Monica and chandler im talking about you) after they get together. But the show does make me laugh real hard sometimes. I’m looking forward to seeing Darryl joining the gang (which probably won’t happen until season 8)!
